great iPhone apps for #icdc

In preparation to be road-warrior eco-friendly and laptop-free, I found some other goodies for the iPhone that are really handy for getting around metro Washington DC and #icdc #theideacamp:

DC Metro Map (free) - plain and simple zoomable visual map of the DC Metro subway system; for $ there are bunches of paid apps for schedules and more details -> search app store for "dc metro"

Where app (free) - find the closest restaurants, Strabucks, gas stations, movie times, local events, etc via location-aware.

DC Traffic Cam (free) - Access hundreds of live traffic cameras in the Washington DC area

DC Going Out Guide (free) - washingtonpost.com guide to Washington's bars and restaurants

Whrrl (free)- great for collaborating on a photo essay during #icdc
