It was a lovely day
Perfect day for a walk in the woods
We went into the forest for a walk hand in hand with a friend
Nice bright day
birds flying
clouds
The beauty of the forest
The radiant sky
The clouds changing anew
Cotton balls in the sky
The sun peeking through
Playing with the clouds
The gentle breeze
The flowers
The colors
The gushing streams
The coolness
The beauty of the moment
How happy was I that day
Something wonderful happened
Hand in hand
stop to hug her
My love how lovely it… Continue

While many are finding ways to convert kitchen grease into bio-fuels, one community in Brazil is using it to create soap for their neighbors.
They're also gathering recyclables to help their neighbors get a hand-up as opposed to a hand-out.
Claudio Oliver has spent 20 years working with the urban poor, and on community development, dental and medical projects, team equipping, and teaching in Curitiba, Brazil.

Love is all there is
The most precious gift of all
To love and be loved in return
Nothing else matters
If u love the divine u love all
There is only one
Nothing else
Only one
We are only a part of the eternal one
Everlasting
Nothing ever ends
Always
Forever
The divine holds everything in his embrace
All are part of him
There is only one
And everything is held by pure love
Love is the glue that holds the universe
Without it the universe will splinter into a thousand pieces
The human heart feels w… Continue

I feel like we are trying to sort of massage the Christian message by an ambiguous logo and generic name. We are Christians who are working to evangelize our friends, family, and community. We are coming together in a conference to come up with missions ideas. Are we afraid of simply saying so? Soccer camp calls itself soccer camp. Bluegrass Jam camp wouldn't think of leaving out the words 'bluegrass' or 'jamming' in the name of the event. What's going on here? Are we afraid of not being liked s… Continue

After my packed-house workshop at ICDC my brain was whirring with ideas about the power of business, and how easily we could influence the whole business world for good. It turned into a series of posts appropriately titled, "Business Will Change the World."
The 4 chapter series outlines business's power in shaping the world and our individual lives, and dives into how we can guide business towards progress. Ultimately it outlines a plan to sh… Continue

A Great Presentation by Seth Godin at 99 Percent Conference.
"What you do for a living is not be creative, what you do is ship," says bestselling author Seth Godin, arguing that we must quiet our fearful "lizard brains" to avoid sabotaging projects just before we finally finish them.
